How I Learned the Art of Making Love [REPOST]
Over the course of the past few months, my weekly erotica series, Wet Wednesdays, has become quite popular here on the blogosphere. It even won the judges’ vote this past summer in the 2009 Black Weblog Awards. Being that tomorrow is a major holiday in the States, I know a lot of folks in these parts are probably traveling to be with family and the last thing on your mind are one of my freaky tales.
Or maybe not.
Not one to let down those fiending for their weekly dose of erotica, I decided to deliver a special Wet Wednesdays for you. It’s actually my very first piece of erotic writing that was published in The Source’s sex issue back in 2000.
This particular piece shocked a lot of my co-workers when a young 23-year-old NWSO successfully penned a story that represented a male perspective on the art of making love. It was actually a companion piece to a female writer’s perspective on the art of fucking.
The idea was to flip the script on the stereotype that all men think about is fucking and women only think about making love. At any rate, the article was a success and I got quite a few phone calls after the piece was published from people saying, “I didn’t know you could write like that.”
As hard as it may seem to regular Wet Wednesdays readers, I didn’t know I could write like that either. To be completely honest, I never had any plans to be a sex and relationship writer. I kind of just fell into it. It’s funny looking back at this almost nine-year-old story that I’ve actually been dabbling in erotica longer than I realized.
Go figure.
As always I appreciate your continued support and dedication. Remember, this is our blog so guest entries are always welcome. I want to thank the brave souls that have shared their stories and opinions thus far and the other readers for being open to other voices from time to time on the blog.
Without further ado, though, feel free to check out today’s archival post.

Definitely let me know what you think of the post and how far I’ve grown as an erotic writer—if at all. Let me know if you can relate to the story and if you remember the person that helped make you a better lover? If so, why?
Have a happy Thanksgiving if you celebrate it and speak your piece…
