My male cousin who was my age had them, and I wanted to do everything he did (thanks, G). ridiculous....absolutely. I recently got a text saying "saw a picture of you on Facebook, you were wearing an Orlando Magic jersey" I don't have a facebook page, so I was mad, but sure enough, there I was....huge b-ball jersey with a ridiculous sports bra showing through the side, and a pair of baggy "swishy" pants...ugh unfortunately, I asked for a pair of hammer pants and my parents obliged….and I am a girl. My male cousin who was my age had them, and I wanted to do everything he did (thanks, G). ridiculous….absolutely.

I was hoping for a pic too... I had a mother who wanted me to remain her little girl for as long as possible. If she could dress me like a 6th grader now she would! My mother always dressed me in jumpers!! UGHHH! I finally broke free from jumpers by high school. I hated those ugly dresses so much I would not even dress my daughter in them when she was little. But my worst memories was my hair. I always had long thick hair but my mother always put it in 2 braids & a part down the middle!! I had a permanent part until I was 30 y/o!! And I also had the tragic asymmetrical Salt n Pepa hairstyle with 4 different lengths...a wedge on one side, bangs in the front, a bob on the other side & long in the back. I told y'all I had a lotta hair!! LOL. I came home from college & my mother almost passed out. She begged me to cut it to at least 2 lengths but I thought I was sooooo cute! Oh yeah & it was a deep fuschia! LOL. My daughter saw those college pics & laughed until she cried. Whateva! I was still cute! LOL LOL!!! I was hoping for a pic too…
